Pine Park Hotel & Resort Shogran

Pine Park is one of Shogran's best-known mountain resorts, set among Himalayan pines at 8,500 ft with landscaped gardens and signature illuminated fountains. Pine Travel books its full range — 17 room categories from rooms to two-bedroom cottages, private villas and a five-room Swiss chalet — from PKR 20,500 a night.

A full-service mountain resort

Unlike a small guest house, Pine Park is a resort — landscaped lawns, colour-changing fountains, a restaurant with room service, bonfire nights and live entertainment. It sits high in Shogran with mountain and forest views across the property, a short drive from the Siri Paye meadows jeep track.

Rooms, cottages and villas

There are seventeen categories. Rooms run from the Standard Room (PKR 20,500) up through Luxury, VIP and Executive rooms to a two-room Executive Suite. Cottages and villas — Honeymoon, Khan, Makra View, Pine and Valley — suit families and groups, and the five-room Swiss chalet takes a whole party. Every room has heating and hot water for the cold mountain nights; there is no AC, which the altitude does not need.

When to go and how to book

Shogran is comfortable roughly April to October, with summer busiest and rooms selling out on peak weekends. Book early through Pine Travel and you get one contact for the room, the Siri Paye jeep and any tour add-ons. From Islamabad it is a day's drive to Kiwai, then a jeep up to Shogran.
